Purpose-built for simplicity and accuracy

The SplitFast Club Pack is a complete eight-gate meet timing system designed to cover a full eight-lane finish line in a single setup. One gate per lane means every athlete in every race is timed simultaneously — no heats split across manual methods, no missed finishes. The LiDAR gates detect athletes across a range of 1 cm to 3 metres and communicate wirelessly to the hub from up to 600 metres away, so the hub can sit at the start line while officials work the finish. Each gate runs for 70+ hours on standard AA batteries, which is enough capacity for a full season of weekly meets without worrying about power. Timing accuracy is ±0.01 seconds across all eight lanes at once, and the whole system is up and running in under 15 minutes from the moment you open the bag. The Club Pack runs on iPad (iOS 14 or later), and because it needs only a single operator at the start line to assign lanes and start races, volunteer training is minimal — most officials are comfortable after a 15-minute walkthrough. The system works reliably in light rain and wind, and is backed by a 12-month warranty plus meet-day support, so if something unexpected happens on race day, you're not on your own. Results Portal and Club Connect access are included, meaning results go from the finish line to every athlete's phone in a matter of minutes.

Club & meet director questions

What happens if a gate fails on meet day?

Our gates have timed thousands of athletes over multiple seasons without a single failure. But if it does happen, any gate can be reconfigured to replace the failed gate.

How many volunteers do we need to operate the system?

Only a single person is required at the startline to operate the system. Once the athletes are assigned to lanes and the race is started, the system runs automatically. Results are sent directly to the Timing app. For races with very young athletes, we recommend a second official on the finish line to make sure all athletes remained in their lanes.

Can we publish results live during the meet?

Yes. Results can be published to the Results Portal immediately after the race is complete using the Timing app. Athletes and spectators can view live results on the website or on their devices running the Club Connect App.

What training do volunteers need?

We provide online training videos and a quick-start guide. Most volunteers are comfortable operating the system after a 15-minute walkthrough. The iPad app is designed to be intuitive for non-technical users.

Can we trial the system before purchasing?

We offer online system demos (usually 30-45 minutes) where we demonstrate the system features and answer any questions. We also provide a 100% money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied with your SplitFast system, you can return it for a full refund.
